About Dynamic Best Of The East

Series of the tournaments in pool billiard organized in countries of Eastern Europe. The first tournament took place in 1998 starting from the event in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. Later on new hosts of the tournament appeared. In 2002 Best of the East became sanctioned by EPBF and the first official sponsor was Longoni. Since 2003 the series is known under the name Dynamic Best of the East because of the new sponsor - Dynamic Billard Organization from Germany. Second supportive partner is Iwan Simonis - well-known for the production of the billard cloth. Saluc - Aramith (a leader in production of billiard balls) had been envolved in the development of the series till 2009. The winner of the ranking, thanks to the support of the International Billard Promotion, participated in EURO TOUR tournament without entry fee.

Every year (2002-2011) 3-6 events took place in Europe. The sport system was Robin Round + single elimination in 9-ball. This provides each sportsmen the possibility to play more matches than in he double elimination system. In total: 47 tournaments were organized in the following countries: Slovakia, Poland, Czech Rep., Hungary, Lithuania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia and Estonia. From 2004 the main organizer of the Dynamic Best of the East is Polish company - Mak Marketing.

In 2012 5 new competitions will be held (in Hungary, Czech Rep, Bulgaria, Estonia and Poland), but for the first time it will be played in 10-ball. Everyone can participate in the event under the following conditions: the application must be sent to the Organizer till the indicated date, the participation will be then approved, name of the participant will be placed on the players' list and the entry fee will be paid.

 About EEBC Pyramid Tour:

EEBC in cooperation with International Pyramid Committee  and European Pyramid Committee has decided to put impact on the promotion of this type of billard sport and its development. IPC, Dynamic Billard Organization and Mak Marketing influenced significantly on the foundation of the pyramid sport sections in Poland (Debica, Werbkowice) and Slovakia (Vazec). Another section is planned to be established in Czech Republic. In October 2011- the first players took part in the World Championship in Kiev. In 2012 EBC plans to conduct training courses and series of the Pyramid Tour as well as to prepare the players for upcoming European and World Championship.

Series consisting of 4-5 tournaments organized for Polish, Slovakian and Czech players. Participants from other countries are not excluded but this competition is targeted to the players from the countries which have just began the journey in pyramid sport. The winners of the series have will have the opportunity to be invited to the professional pyramid tournaments organized by IPC and EPC.

About The Series

After a lot of hard work made by the organisers - Juri Talu and Tomas Brikman, Baltic Pool League was for the first time introduced in 2011. The project has immediately drawn an attention of Olympic-Onlilne, who became the main sponsor of the event and due to that the name was changed into Olympic-Online Baltic Pool League. Although the League is open for all players, it is mainly focused on the players from the Baltic states. In the first edition of the event there were prticipating players from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.

The event consists of four qualification stages and a final stage where 32 best ranked men and 8 best ranked women rake part. Over 80 players in each stage of qualification each in men's and women's division had participated.

This is a program initiated and run by the East European Billiard Council and Mak Marketing in collaboration with national pool federations. It encompasses the exchange of coaching and training experiences, participation in international training and tournaments and the knowledge of the culture and traditions of the participants. Its participants can be players, coaches and lovers of billiard sport from different countries. Supporting actions are: national federations, clubs, local governments, business entities and individuals.
