The group of youth and trainers from Slovakia came to Poland as part of the International Billiard Academy program. They played the matches in Debica, Bilcza, Bodzentyn and Kielce. 45 people took part in the event.

In the beginning the guests from Slovakia stayed in Debica where they met players from 'Pino' Club. The host of the evening was Piotr Kedzior - the Vice-President of Polish Billiard Association and the Manager of Billiard Sport Club Pino. The next day they had a match with representatives of 'Orleta Bilcza' Club.

'There is wonderfully developed billiard sport on school level in Poland. It is a great chance for us to get some advice concerning the work with the youth and also provide great fun for the children' said Milan Mrva - the leader of the delegation and member of the board of Slovakian Billiard Federation. 'I am very glad that we could host the young players and their keepers from Slovakia in our community. We are internationally active and support initiatives which make people able to start  cooperation with foreign partners' said the Mayor of Morawica Community - Marian Buras.

The Councillors - Waldemar Wojcik and Jan Wroblewski and the President of European Billiard Council - Marcin Krzeminski were watching the competition in the sports hall in Bilcza. In the afternoon the guests from Slovakia had a challange with players from ULKS Orly Bodzentyn. In the name of the Marshal of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship and the Mayor, the guests were welcomed by Leszek Wnetrzak - the Manager of the Sport Department of the Marshall Office.

Young billiard players from Bilcza, Wislica, Tczew and Kielce were in Slovakia last year. This year Polish seniors team visited Israel and a big group of pupils will go to Czech Republic in May. Also guests from Czech Rep., Ukraine, Slovakia, Lithuania and Belarus will come to Poland in June. In the summer the youth and the coaches will meet at Summer Billiard Camp in Bulgaria.

The International Billiard Academy - the program of European Billiard Council is the one and only billiard program in Europe which combines intergration and training. It is planned for 2014 to include into this program about 200 people. The program is financially supported by the local governments, national federations and companies.
