In Portoroz in Slovenia has just ended the European Championships in Pool Billiard (Dynamic European Championships for men, women and wheelchairs). Players from Eastern Europe and Balkans Region got 15 medals.

The representatives of Poland achieved the best result and got 8 medals (2 gold - Oliwia Czuprynska, Mateusz Sniegocki, 2 silver - Katarzyna Wesolowska, Tomasz Kaplan and 4 bronze medals). Polish team took the second place in medal classification just after the Dutches who got 7 medals but the three of them were gold. Russia got 2 medals (silver - Konstantin Stiepanov and bronze - team). Zoran Svilar from Serbia became the European Vice-champion. A silver medal got by Bulgarian women team was a big sensation. Krista Zlateva and Maria Levova were pointed as a favourities by none. The wheelchair player from Slovenia - Matej Brajkovic got 2 bronze medals. Also Nikolaos Malaj from Albania joined the group of medalists. Mateusz Sniegocki became the best billiard player amongst the men. Representative of Polish Billiard Association became the European Champion in 10-Ball and got the third places in 8-ball and 9-ball.
