The first meeting of coordination group of European Pool-billiard Training Project took place in Sofia.

Bulgarian Billiards Federation received financial support from European Union to develop Billiard Academy of Champions. The main purpose of the project is cooperation between 5 federations which includes exchange of information and national team training to prepare for playing at the highest level. The activities will take place in Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. In conference room of Levsky stadium press conference had been organized after which the participants were invited to visit The Sports Museum.
