Kristián Mrva wins the second Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament!
Last weekend, another Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament took place in Prague. The event held at the Lucky Ball Club attracted 82 pool billiards enthusiasts who came from: Romania, Poland, Georgia, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine. Kristián Mrva proved to be the best in the capital of the Czech Republic.
The nearly 21-year-old Slovak didn't have an easy way, as he was already competing in the group with, among others, junior world championship medalist Jakub Chrobot. Despite this, Mrva was unrivaled, won all three matches and thus qualified for the next round of the competition.
Competing in the play-offs for the medal zone, he sent away empty-handed Slovak pool legend Jaroslav Polach, as well as Michal Gavenciak (CZE). Finally, in the semi-finals, he faced Fortis Kielce pool player Mariusz Skoneczny, and won the competition 7:5.
In the gold medal match, Mrva defeated Dominik Jastrząb and thus triumphed in the second tournament of this year's Dynamic Billard Best of the East series. It should be added that Skoneczny and Jaroslav Tichy finished the event with a bronze medal.
The Slovak received 1,200 euros for his victory, a cup with a medal, and a professional Cuetec cue worth over 500 euros. His opponent from the final took home 800 euros and a Cuetec cue case worth 400 euros. The next tournament in the Dynamic Billard Best of the East series will take place in early June in Georgia.

Kristián Mrva wygrywa drugi turniej Dynamic Billard Best of the East!
W miniony weekend w Pradze odbyły się kolejne zawody cyklu Dynamic Billard Best of the East. Wydarzenie rozgrywane w Lucky Ball Club przyciągnęło 82 entuzjastów pool bilarda, którzy przyjechali z: Rumunii, Polski, Gruzji, Północnej Macedonii, Czech, Słowacji i Ukrainy. W stolicy Czech najlepszy okazał się Kristián Mrva.
Niespełna 21-letni Słowak nie miał łatwej przeprawy, bo już w grupie o wyjście rywalizował między innymi z medalistą mistrzostw świata juniorów, Jakubem Chrobotem. Mimo to Mrva nie miał sobie równych, wygrał wszystkie trzy starcia i tym samym zameldował się w kolejnej fazie rozgrywek.
Rywalizując w play-off o strefę medalową odesłał z kwitkiem choćby legendę słowackiego poola, Jaroslava Polacha, a także Michala Gavenciaka (CZE). W końcu w półfinale zmierzył się z bilardzistą Fortisu Kielce, Mariuszem Skonecznym i tę rywalizację wygrał 7:5.
W spotkaniu o złoty medal Mrva ograł Dominika Jastrząba i tym samym zatriumfował w drugim tegorocznym turnieju cyklu Dynamic Billard Best of the East. Dodajmy, że z brązowym medalem imprezę zakończyli Skoneczny oraz Jaroslav Tichy.
Słowak za zwycięstwo otrzymał 1.200 euro, puchar wraz z medalem, a także profesjonalny kij bilardowy marki Cuetec warty ponad 500 euro.
Jego oponent z finału zabrał do domu 800 euro oraz warty 400 euro futerał Cuetec. Kolejny turniej wchodzący w skład cyklu Dynamic Billard Best of the East odbędzie się na początku czerwca w Gruzji. Trwa rejestrowanie listy zawodników na AJARA CUP 9-Ball.
