The meeting, concerning the possibilities of cooperation between European Pocket Billiard Federation and European Billiard Council, lasted three and a half hour. Gre Leenders and Udo Lampey from EPBF, Marcin Krzeminski and Lev Jaroslavtsev from EBC and Gregory Koblenz – the owner of Dynamic Billiard Company took part in the meeting in Willingen. It was predated by the discussion in Luxemburg and the letters exchange. EBC claims that some initiatives harmful for new organization were taken by EPBF in 2012. Situation like this does not make for the development of billiard sport and does not support the branch business. Billiard clubs and national federations are in a difficult situation due to economic crisis. The number of participants or initiatives and money prizes is decreasing. The person who would like to engage in local and international sport life must not be afraid of EPBF repressions. “We all are sailing the same boat and should oar together” – said G. Koblenz. According to EPBF everyone who wants to be active on international market must acknowledge the overriding role of EPBF, accept the decisions and do not take any European or intercontinental action. Few ideas were proposed by EPBF. Some of them are: reduction of the number of federations which can join another organization, prohibition of choosing people who are functioning in regional organizations as members of the board of EPBF and reduction of the meaning in EPBF of the national federations acting in regional associations. EBC underlined that the regional cooperation is the only chance to take part in an international competition for many players. EBC was a staunch advocate of dividing EPBF and IBP. It is unacceptable situation that most of the board of EPBF consists of employees of private company. It is obviously the conflict of interests (not to say - corrupting situation).  Whose business is represented during negotiating the EPBF-IBF contracts? EBC is after the idea of one European pool billiard federation which functions accordingly to the international standards and the decentralization of actions to support local initiatives. Both sides agreed for some solutions but many issues left unsolved. The boards of EPBF and EBC are going to meet to talk about the details. According to the information received from G. Leenders, the board of EPBF discussed the cooperation with EBC on 8 December and sent the answer to M. Krzeminski. The document is going to be talked over during the meeting of EBC.
