THE PROJECT EAC - 2011 - 0455 "EUROPEAN ABC (ACADEMY FOR BILLIARD CHAMPIONS) ON THE WAY TO SPORT EXCELLENCE" financed by European Union is finished.
The representatives of national billiard organizations from Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Czech Republic participated in 7 meeting during few months to talk about the important billiard sport developement issues. Experience exchanging was a relevant part of the program. The ways of getting new sponsors, effecient cooperation of clubs and associations, conflicts solving, budgets building and work with the youth issues were discussed during the panels lead by Marcin Krzeminski - the President of European Billiard Council.
The project was an impuls to establish the Summer Academy, which is going to be started in 2013 at Black Sea in Bulgaria. The tournament organized in BSD Club in Sofia was a great time for sport experience exchanging and improving of participants integration. 28 billiard players took part in this competition. Jaroslav Polach from Slovakia became the winner.
European ABC is the first billiard project financed by European Union. 130.000 Euro was spent to fulfil the project.
