259 players from 15 countries participated in 2012 Dynamic Best of the East. Karol Skowerski (POL) became the winner of the general ranking. He collected 160 points more than Radoslaw Babica (POL) and 165 points more than Mariusz Skoneczny (POL).

This year competition started in Pecs. The host of the first tournament was, as usually, Fordan Center where Laszlo Varga and Laszlo Somogyvari created perfect conditions for  the players. Karol Skowerski won in Hungarian 10-Ball.

The second event was held in Ostrava. Comeback to Czech Republic was a very important moment. The startup of Dynamic Best of the East was in ‘90s when billiard players from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic begun the competition. CMBS Open was the one of the most relevant elements. Unfortunately in 2002 in Prague it was the last time when players met in Czech and had to wait 10 years to meet again. Miroslav Lekhy from Black Pool Club from Ostrava and Tomasz Onderek – tournament promoter - thank you for the difficult decision.  Cameras of TVSports showed the victory of Mateusz Sniegocki in Czech 10-Ball.

Since 2006 another host of the Dynamic Best of the East is  Bulgaria. During this season, thanks to the cooperation between Bulgarian Billiard Federation and the Mayor of the city of Burgas, local billiard clubs made their tables available for the players. The final match was played in Mall Galeria. We are sending thanks to Ivan Kamenarski – the President of BBF, Vladimir Popov, Rosita Apostolova and the owners of the clubs: RSP, Cameo and Mall Galeria. It is significant that that BBF provided free accommodation for all players. Apparently the seaside climate was very helpful to Karol Skowerski who won again. The greatest number of players among all tournaments in 2012  – 95 people - was achieved then in Burgas.

The capital of Estonia – Tallin was the host of the competition in September. The team from Israel unexpectedly took part in the event. In the Baribal Club Polish domination was stopped by Denis Grabe (EST) who defeated Radoslav Babica (POL) in a final match. The owner of the Baribal Club – Rafig Adigazalov was the sponsor of the tournament.

The last tournament of this year edition – Polish 10-Ball was held in Frame Club in Lodz where came 76 players. For the first time came a few players from Finland. Only Polish players stood on the podium and Wojciech Trajdos became the winner.

Summary

Dynamic Best of the East is the series of the tournaments which was established to promote billiard sport in Eastern Europe. For many players it is the only possibility to take part in an international competition. Euro Tours or World Tours are simply too expensive for them. There were 185 people on a ranking list of Dynamic Best of the East 2011. In 2012 there were  259 - it is 74 plyers more than a year before. As we can see, in spite of the financial crisis, Mak Marketing, together with partners, achieved better result. It was also the first time when the series was organized under the patronage of European Billiard Council – the organization supporting the sport development of players. In this situation all the creators of the project can be glad. Special thanks for the longstanding sponsors: Dynamic Billard Organization from Germany and Iwan Simonis from Belgium. Thanks also to Kamui Company from Japan – the producer of cue tips which joined the circle of our sponsor in this year. The director of the series – Marcin Krzeminski thanks also the referees: Piotr Kaminski, Andrzej Siejko, Rosita Apostolova, Vladimir Popov, Waldemar Debski and Dariusz Kobacki.
