EEBC Junior Cup in Bratislava.

 41 billiard players took part in the first EEBC youth tournament of the year. They came to the Lavos club in Bratislava from: the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Serbia and Slovakia.

The winner was Mark Szabo from Slovakia, who defeated Evan Hermaneanu from Romania 6:4 in the final. The bronze medals were won by Vaclav Skokan from the Czech Republic and Malina Marko from Slovakia.

The event was hosted by the Slovak Billiard Federation, and the whole thing was supervised by Lukas Kovać, who summed up the tournament as follows.

"It was a very successful sports meeting of young people from several countries. The level of the matches was varied, but you can see the potential of many players."

In 2025, the East European Billiard Council has prepared 3 junior tournaments. The series began in Bratislava. In July, Pardubice awaits the participants, and in August, Kielce.

A record to start the season. Rekord na otwarcie sezonu !

 


It was fascinating! 120 juniors and 55 juniors competed in the Frame club in Łódź in the  Mak Marketing Junior Tour billiards tournament! This is a great result!!! Among the girls, Julia Babica (Akademia Bilardowa Rokietnica) won, and among the boys, Dominik Regieli (UKS Fair Play Jaworzno).

Grand Prix of Poland Brzesc Slomka Ptysiowa POL TOUR 10-Ball - Kielce.

Another event from the Grand Prix of Poland in Billiard Brześć Słomka Ptysiowa POL TOUR series is behind us. The event held in Kielce was won by Wojciech Szewczyk (GKS Katowice), who defeated Mateusz Śniegocki (Strefa Łódź) 6:1 in the final. Bronze medals received Hubert Lopotko ( Bank Spoldzielczy LP Sokolka) and Patryk Statkiewicz ( Green Club Gdansk).  A total of 136 players from 36 cities took part.

"I'm tired, but I'm happy with the victory. I played 6 matches today. I won two out of two POL TOURs this year and I moved away from my most dangerous rival, Daniel Macioł," says Wojciech Szewczyk.

Let us recall that the 31st edition of the Polish Grand Prix in Billiards Brześć Słomka Ptysiowa POL TOUR consists of six tournaments played in Łódź (2), Kielce (2), Kętrzyn and Gdańsk. The total prize money of the Grand Prix of Poland in Billiard Brześć Słomka Ptysiowa POL TOUR in the 2025 series will be approximately PLN 66.5 thousand. Additionally, the organizers will give away two professional Predator cues (worth up to PLN 9 thousand) and gifts from the Brześć-Sipa company.

EEBC Pyramid Tour - Prague 2025

The EEBC Pyramid Tour tournament was held in Prague. Mykhailo Kusen triumphed in the competition, defeating Rostyslav Bovonenke in the final, while Volodymyr Kuzmenko and Bohdan Shmyrko finished in the last places on the podium.

40 players from Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Ukraine took part in the tournament.

For the first time, the EEBC hired a professional media agency to provide coverage, photography, interviews and a promotional film.

The tournament was held at the Lucky Ball club and is included in the EEBC ranking. It is part of the pyramid development program in Europe, carried out in cooperation with the International Pyramid Committee.

Kristián Mrva wins the second Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament!

 

Last weekend, another Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament took place in Prague. The event held at the Lucky Ball Club attracted 82 pool billiards enthusiasts who came from: Romania, Poland, Georgia, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine. Kristián Mrva proved to be the best in the capital of the Czech Republic.

The nearly 21-year-old Slovak didn't have an easy way, as he was already competing in the group with, among others, junior world championship medalist Jakub Chrobot. Despite this, Mrva was unrivaled, won all three matches and thus qualified for the next round of the competition.

Competing in the play-offs for the medal zone, he sent away empty-handed Slovak pool legend Jaroslav Polach, as well as Michal Gavenciak (CZE). Finally, in the semi-finals, he faced Fortis Kielce pool player Mariusz Skoneczny, and won the competition 7:5.

Szymon Kural won the first tournament of the Dynamic Billard Best of the East series!

Romanian Oradea is exceptionally lucky for a Polish player. Szymon Kural won the first Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament this year. For Szymon, this is his third victory in this place.

The competition was held last weekend. The turnout was high. Over a hundred participants came to Oradea. Among them, of course, Romanians, Poles, Ukrainians, Serbian, Czechs, Albanians and Slovaks. Whose star shone the brightest?

During the first Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament of this year, only Poles made it to the semi-finals. In the fight for the final, Hubert Łopotko defeated Jacek Pietrzyk 7:2, and the rivalry between Szymon Kural and Dmitry Hryb ended with the same result.

The final match was between Hubert Łopotko, the winner of the entire Dynamic Billard Best of the East series, and Kural - the winner from 2023. Kural won 7:4! As a reward, he received not only a medal, a cup, or a cash prize, but also a Cuetec brand pool cue worth about 750 euros. In turn, the silver medalist also took home a great quality Cuetec Cue case.

Federal Cup 2025

Another edition of the Federal Cup took place in Brno, a match between the best players from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The teams played in the following line-ups:

Czech Republic:  Roman Hybler, David Žalman (kapitán), Petr Urban, Jan Meisner, Ladislav Hajšman

Slovakia – Jakub Koniar, Jaroslav Polách, Balázs Koles, Kristián Mrva a Daniel Lang, Lukáš Kováč – kapitán.

The team from Slovakia won 11:6.   Congratulation!!!

 

W Brnie odbyła się kolejna edycja Federal Cup czyli meczu pomiędzy najlepszymi zawodnikami Czech i Słowacji. Zespoły wystąpiły w wyżej wymienionych składach.

Zwyciężył zespół ze Słowacji 11:6. Gratulujemy !
