The first carom tournament organized by EEBC took place in Baltic Billiard Centre in Ketrzyn (Poland). 16 players joined the competition. The representative of the host (MOSiR Ketrzyn) - Damian Ejmont became the winner in 3-cusions.
The First Bulgairan Chmapionships in pyramid took place in Varna. 16 players started in the competition.
The president of Bulgarian Billiard Federation – Ivan Kamenarski and the host of the event – Dymitry Ignatiev lead the openning ceremony. Dmitry Kyrakin became the first official champion. In a final match defeated Denis Adamov 5:3. Namik Krasnikov and Andrey Girshfeld got the third place. In the tournament played also one lady – Polina Popova. Bulgarian Championships were financially supported by our organization. EEBC will also cover the cost of start of Bulgarian represnative during world championships in Russia.
The Marshal of Swietokrzyskie Voivodship accepted the EEBC's program - Billiard Academy of Chance.
A cycle of billiard tournaments for disabled living near Kielce will take place in October and November. We assume that about 20 people will join the competition. We got 20.000 zl (5.000 Euro) to organize these events. This is the next initiative of EEBC financially supported by local government.
World Championships in dynamic pyramid took place in Taraz (Kazakhstan). National teams from 19 countries participated in this tournament. Kanybek Sagynbayev from Kyrgyzstan won the competition.
Last in this year tournament for juniors realized as a part of International Billiard Academy took place during last weekend (13-14.09.2014) in Kanianka ‘B’ billiard club in Slovakia. The event turned out as a great success of young Polish players who copeted with their friends from Slovakia and Czech Rep.
The great job did the representatives of UKS ‘Milek’ from Wislica – Wojciech Dynia, Dawid Kuzniakowski, Hubert Sagan and Jakub Haczyk. Their determination lead them to the victory in team competition.
The course in pyramid for disabled people took place in Kielce. 12 people took part in this training.
The rules of the game and particular strike technics were explained by the President of EEBC - Marcin Krzeminski. Players and activists had played pool billiard before they joined this course so they had no difficulties with understanding the rules. More mistakes were made during strinking the balls.
The meeting of the board of International Committee of Pyramid took place in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan). The chairman of the event was the president of ICP - Pawel Zawalny.
ICP created sport plan for 2015 and accepted the developement startegy for Middle and Western Europe which was presented by the vice-president - Marcin Krzeminski. Thanks to the agreement between East European Billiard Council and ICP in this year players will compete in Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Rep., Slovakia and Israel.
International Pyramid Confederation and East European Billiard Council signed an agreement concerning pyramid development. The presidents of both organizations signed a document which contains details about their common aims. EEBC will be organizing tournaments and trainings in Middle and Western Europe.
About 10 events in 6 countries will take place in 2014. Financial support provided by IBC will help the best players to start in world championships.
