Last in this year tournament for juniors realized as a part of International Billiard Academy took place during last weekend (13-14.09.2014) in Kanianka ‘B’ billiard club in Slovakia. The event turned out as a great success of young Polish players who copeted with their friends from Slovakia and Czech Rep.
The great job did the representatives of UKS ‘Milek’ from Wislica – Wojciech Dynia, Dawid Kuzniakowski, Hubert Sagan and Jakub Haczyk. Their determination lead them to the victory in team competition.
Maksymilian Krol from Nosan Kielce was out of reach in the competition of singles. In semifinal defeated Filip Foltan from Kanianka ‘B’ from Slovakia 7:4. In the second semifinal his younger team mate – Dominik Wojcik, after a very close match, defeated Mattia Scodinu 7:6. In last match of the tournament Maks was better than Dominik and won 7:4. Mattia Scodinu got the third place in the tournament.
Szczepan Sekula, the trainer of juniors from UKS ‘Milek’ Wislica, looked after Polish team. We would like to cogratulate him a very good debut as a coach of the team. In general 23 young billiard players took part in the EEBC Junior Cup. Many thanks to the host of the event – Roman Certic from Kanianka for very warm well come.
In 2014 EEBC organized three tournaments of EEBC Junior Cup in Lodz (Poland), Pardubice (Czech Rep.) and Kanianka (Slovakia). In total almost 215 juniors took part in the competition. We are very proud of our international cooperation.
