The cycle of the trainings and tournaments for disabled youth organized in Kielce by EEBC has just finished. 20 people participated in each of the 4 meetings.

Young players were competing under a watchful eye of the coaches. They were rewarded with cups, medals and prizes. The guest of the event was the Vice-Marshal of the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship – Grzegorz Swiercz. On the 5th November disabled players from six districts of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship played in the final tournament of our project. It was a really big challenge. The event was organized professionally what caused both excitation and stress.

Quarterfinals were particularly hard-fought. Until the last strike it was not obvious who would  get to the semifinals. Finally amongst the girls the best was Daria Orman who defeated Joanna Wieckowska 8:3. Daria Szewczyk took the third place. Mateusz Kostecki won the boys competition – in the final match he occured to play better than Mateusz Sonta. The third place was taken by Tomasz Dziub. Congratulations! This tournament was a beautiful conclusion of the job done by the participants, coaches and organizers. East European Billiard Council was able to conduct this project thanks to the financial support provided by the Marshal Office of the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship.
