Polish players won 6 medals during European Championships which took place in Kyrenia. Polish Billiard Association submitted an application in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism for the grants for the medalists. All of them got together 17.000 Euro.
The European Champion - Katarzyna Wesolowska will get 1.725 zl/month, Vicechampion - Oliwia Czuprynska - 1.035 zl/month and the bronze medalists: Mateusz Sniegocki, Mariusz Skoneczny and Tomasz Kaplan will get 920 zl/month. The Minister of Sport gave them also extra prize money for their successes - overall 23.000 zl (5.580 Euro). Wesolowska got 7.762 zl, Czuprynska - 5.525 zl and each of men 3.450 zl.
