The VII Gala of Billiard Sport organized by Polish Billiard Association and Mak Marketing Company took place in 4-star Grand Hotel in Kielce. Over 100 guests attended the event.

The laureates of the main award – MAKS became: the Mayor of the city of Kielce – Wojciech Lubawski, the Vice President of PBA – Piotr Kedzior from Debica and “The Best Player of the last 20 years” – Radoslaw Babica.  Eight people received from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism a decoration “For the merits in sport”. Almost 40 people were awarded with the distinction for the sporting achievements, activity and support given to Polish billiard.

The Gala was honored by e.g. The Senator of RP – Krzysztof Slon, members of Polish parliament: Lucjan Pietrzczyk and Slawomir Kopycinski, the representative of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism – Andrzej Banasiak, Vice Marshal of Swietokrzyskie Region - Grzegorz Swiercz, the Chairman of the Council of the city of Kielce – Tomasz Bogucki and the Deputy of Mayor of the city of Kielce - Andrzej Sygut.

Mateusz Sniegocki received a key to Chevrolet Spark from the sponsors – Marcin Sipa and Krzysztof Gardjas. Amongst the awarded were also Jorgen Sandman from Sweden – the multi-year President of World Confederation of Billiards Sports, Samuel Koniar - the President of Slovakian Billiard Association and Lev Jaroslavtsev – the leader of Russian pool.

Malgorzata Glowka and Samuela Modrzejewska from K2 band graced the Gala with a wonderful singing. The party lasted until early morning.
