The third members meeting of international project - Academy for Billiard Champions (ABC) took place in Prague. Marcello Corrado - the representative of European Commission responsible for sport was the special guest.
The training for the heads of national billiard federations of Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic, concerning improving communication skills - “Communication skills-work with national/local authorities, clubs, other sport organizations”, was led by Marcin Krzeminski - Executive Board Member of World Pool Billiard Association.
Participants talked about the information giving system and were exchanging their experiences. Important point was comparison of the websites of WPA, EPBF and EBC. The best impression made EBC website (European Billiard Council). Marcello Corrado was showing the sport policy of European Union and answering the question of meeting participants.
The next meeting will be placed in Bulgaria.
It is worth to mention that European Union gave 130.000 € to finance the project: “EAC – 2011 – 0455 “EUROPEAN ABC (ACADEMY FOR BILLIARD CHAMPIONS) ON THE WAY TO SPORT EXCELLENCE”.
